The top executive with Noront Resources is confirming news that his
company is in contact with the Fort William First Nation about a
possible chromite processor. CEO Paul Semple says it's too early to
say if a plant will be built on the First Nations property, but admits
it does look attractive. He says they've checked out the land and
notes there's a 300 megawatt power plant across the river. Semple says
the company's first priority though, is the Eagle's Nest nickle project
in the Ring of Fire.
