Talk about going above and beyond the call of duty. This morning Sioux Lookout OPP were call to a report of several bears in a residential area. They say one of the bears had a plastic mayonnaise jar stuck on its head. One of the officers approached the bear and wrestled the jar from its head while the other officer kept a watchful eye on the mother bear in the nearby woods. Neither officer was injured during the incident and police say the bear appeared to be fine when it ran off into the woods.Friday, July 29, 2011
