Officials are confirming this morning that a strong smell of gas that covered much of the city's south side Friday evening was not harmful. Thunder Bay Fire traced the smell to the Resolute Mill on Neebing Avenue. The Mill released the gas which was non-combustible and contacted the Ministry of the Environment before doing so.
