Kenora MP Greg Rickford is defending legislation that will prevent Air Canada ground workers from going on strike. The government legislation was passed in the House of Commons early this morning, and is expected to get an easy ride in the Senate. Rickford says it's a busy time of year in the airline industry and it would be unfair to travellers if they got stranded because of a strike or lock-out.
