City officials appear no closer to announcing an end to volunteer water
restrictions than they were when the flood crisis started. Following a media
tour of the sewage treatment plant spokesperson Darrell Matson said that there
is no way to tell when the plant will be fixed to the point where the state of
emergency can be lifted and residents can resume their normal water usage.
Meantime
Matson is looking at the forecast which predicts five days of rain
starting on Friday.
Video: Looking down you can see the underground portion of the plant which was entirely submerged almost right up to the opening. Also note the two empty locations where the engines were flooded out.
