An official with Earthquakes Canada confirms that a magnitude 2.3 trembler was centred 67 kilometres west of Terrace Bay and about 27 kilometres from Lake Nipigon. While it was too small to cause any damage it can be felt by people living nearby.

On the north shore they are still talking about Friday's earthquake.
