Idle No More Movement Heads East
The Idle No More movement is holding a rally today East of Thunder Bay.
First Nations residents are expected to start gathering at noon at the
band office in Red Rock with a march scheduled for 1 o'clock across
the bridge to the Highway 11-17 junction. The rally is in support of
treaty rights they feel are being infringed upon by the government.
Provincial police are warning motorists that traffic on the Nipigon
bridge may be slowed during this event which runs until 3:30 this
afternoon.
